A Saudi Perspective on COP26 and Current Initiatives

The 26th Conference of the 197 Parties (COP) who make up the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change will take place in Glasgow, Scotland, from 1 to 12 November 2021. Negotiations will be conducted in the shadow of the dire conclusions reached by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in their Sixth Assessment Report, published in August 2021.
